View from Sünser Spitze in SE direction to the N escarpment of the Damüls mountains. This cliff displays a fine sequence of Cretaceous limestone layers originating from the N shelf of the Tethys ocean, also known as the Helvetic system. Damülser Mittagsspitze (2095 m) is shown behind, in front of Hoher Ifen (2230 m).
