The Großes Walsertal has been declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2000, in order to protect sensitive ecosystems while promoting the sustainable development of the area. This photo shows the visitor centre in the village of Sonntag. The cheese brand Walserstolz is inseparably connected to the valley.
