Pas de la Casa is located on the N side of the main watershed of the Pyrenees, in the headwaters of the Ariège valley (left side), at an elevation of roughly 2100 m asl. This highest ski resort of Andorra opened in 1957. It profits from the duty-free status of the country and attracts visitors not only from nearby Toulouse and Barcelona, but also from the UK and other countries. The peaks in the very right background are the Pics de Font Negra (2877 m) on French territory.
