Panoramic view down the slopes of Sveti Jure and over the limestone highland of the Biokovo mountain massif in W direction to Sveti Ilija (1642 m). The countless holes characterizing the uneven topography of the highland are dolines, very common features in the karst landscapes of the Dinaric Mountains. The narrow access road to Sveti Jure appears in the lower left part of the scene, whereas the Adriatic Sea with the islands of Hvar and Brač is shown in the background.
