View from Sveti Jure in S direction over the limestone highland of the Biokovo mountain massif, with Veliki Troglav (1658 m) shown in the right centre of the scene. The countless holes characterizing the uneven topography of the highland are dolines, very common features in the karst landscapes of the Dinaric Mountains. The Adriatic Sea with the islands of Hvar and Korčula as well as the Pelješac peninsula appears in the background of the photo.
