The main square in the centre of the Croatian capital city was created in the mid 17th century. It looks back to a changeful history, reflected in a broad range of architectural styles of the surrounding buildings. The statue on the right side of the scene depicts Josip Jelačić, a Croatian leader within the Austrian Imperial Army.
