View from Hafelekar along the Nordkette (the S-most range of the Karwendel mountains) and down the Inn valley in E direction. The Nordkette, made of rugged carbonate rocks, stands in sharp contrast to the moderately sloped mountains across the valley, composed of metamorphic rocks such as quartz phyllite.
