View from the lookout at Međa down the N slopes of the Papuk (left side) and Krndija mountains (right side) towards the Pannonian Plain. The Papuk range (953 m), standing out of the surrounding plains, has been declared a nature park and a UNESCO Global Geopark. It once formed an island in the Paratethys or Pannonian Sea.
