This art gallery was established in 1898. Like many other historicist buildings in the Donji grad district of Zagreb, also the Art Pavilion was damaged in the 2020 earthquake. At the time this photo was taken, it was still undergoing renovation. King Tomislav Square forms part of the Green Horseshoe, a U-shaped system of urban parks.
