The Zagreb Cathedral goes back to medieval times. It was repeatedly revovated or partly rebuilt after fire and earthquake damages. The two spires were constructed after the 1880 earthquake in Neo-Gothic style. One of them was badly damaged in the 2020 earthquake, resulting in another major renovation.
