View down the Svartá valley in NW direction to the farm Bólstaðarhlíð. This type of landscape, characterized by U-shaped valleys, is typical for those parts of Iceland where volcanic activity has ceased long ago and Pleistocene glaciers have carved the terrain. The Ring Road appears on the right side of the scene.
