Oblique morning view of the Bay of Tivat with the town of the same name. This inlet forms part of the larger Bay of Kotor, a so-called ria: the valley of the former Bokelj river disintegrated due to tectonic processes and karstification and eventually submerged, leaving behind a system of bays connected by narrow straits.
