Sarajevo | Sahat-kula and Gazi Husrev-begova džamija

These two towers in the Baščaršija neighbourhood remind of the time of the Ottoman Empire: the 30 m high Sarajevo Clock Tower (right side) was built in 1762 in the place of earlier towers, whereas the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, the largest historic mosque in the country, even goes back to 1531 (minaret shown on the left side).
