View from Obala kulina bana in E direction to Latin Bridge, a stone arch bridge from the Ottoman era. The structure shown in this image was built around 1800, replacing an older bridge. It has become famous as, at its N end, Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria was assassinated by Gavrilo Princip in 1914. This event finally triggered World War I.
