Heavy rainfall in the night of 3-4 October 2024 resulted in the collapse of a quarry on the mountain slope above the village of Donja Jablanica. The resulting debris flow led to severe destruction and approx. 20 fatalities. The local mosque was partly buried. Also surrounding areas were badly affected by floods and debris flows.
