The Basilica of the Holy Family, destroyed after the Battle of Kupres in 1992 and rebuilt afterwards, is the most conspicuous landmark of Kupres. However, this small town at 1150 m asl. is better known for its ski resort, its ancient tombstones, and for a grass mowing competition declared a UNESCO Intangibe Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2020.
