Place Masséna is considered the main square of Nice. Its layout essentially goes back to the 1840s. The square is lined by historic Italian-style buildings painted in red ochre. The statue with the kneeling man is one of seven of its kind, representing the seven continents. View along Avenue Jean Médecin in NW direction.
