Panoramic view from the summit area of Le Brévent in SE direction. The Mont Blanc Massif towers more than 3500 vertical metres above the Arve Valley with the town of Chamonix, a major centre of winter sports. Mont Blanc (4806 m) and all other high peaks, however, are hidden in the clouds.
