Late afternoon view from Jardin du Pharo across the entrance to the Old Port to Fort Saint-Jean. This fortress, ordered by Louis XIV, was completed in 1660 as a response to an uprising. It later served as a prison and was used by the army. Since 2013, the building has housed part of the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations (MuCEM).
