Kilkenny | Saint Canice's Cathedral

This Gothic cathedral of the Church of Ireland was built in the 13th century on the grounds of a former Celtic Christian monastery. The well-preserved, 30 m high round tower even dates from the 9th century. It can be climbed to the top through ladders in its interior.
