Specialized grasses can deal with the challenging ecological conditions on the extensive dune system of Rossbeigh Strand, view in N direction. This 3 km long spit, extending into the S part of Dingle Bay, consists of beaches and dunes. The Dingle Peninsula appears in the background of the photo, on the N side of Dingle Bay.
