Panoramic late afternoon view from the Sky Club in NE direction. The skyline of the Albanian capital is rapidly evolving. Most of the skyscrapers dominating the scene were completed in the last few years, or are shown in the final stage of construction. Until the 1990s and even longer, the city was dominated by buildings from the fascist era during World War II and the communist era in the following decades. Rinia Park (left foreground), the central park in the city centre, goes back to 1950.
