Panoramic view from a lookout near the main summit of Monte Generoso in SW direction to Cima di Sassalto (1614 m) in front of the Po Plain. The summit station of the rack railway (left side) was later replaced by a new building. The Monte Generoso Observatory, which can be seen between the station and the broadcasting tower, was dismantled in 2021 and moved to Berne. Lake Lugano and Monte San Giorgio (1097 m) can be seen on the right side.
