View from Cook River / Weheka Bridge up the valley of the same name in S direction to the Southern Alps, covered in fresh snow after some precipitation the day and night before. In general, this area is extremely humid: air masses are driven towards the mountain slopes by the Westerlies after having travelled over the ocean for thousands of kilometres.
