The small settlement of Mong occupies an an exposed ridge at an elevation just below 4000 m asl. on the way between Namche Bazar and the Gokyo Valley. View in E direction across the Imja Khola Valley to Ama Dablam (6812 m, left side) and Kangtega (6782 m, right side).
