This rock slide destroyed a protection tunnel of the Felbertauern Highway on May 14, 2013 without causing casualties. The road connection was closed for more than two months until the construction of a bypass road was completed. This road leads from the tunnel portal in the left centre of the image down to the valley bottom at the left edge.
