Truyère River with Viaduc de Garabit

View from a service station of the A75 Motorway in W direction. This steel arch bridge leads a railway line across the Truyère River. It was designed by Gustave Eiffel and Maurice Koechlin, and built between 1882 and 1884. At the time of opening, it was one of the highest bridges in the world (124 m above the river).
