View from the Provincial Road 477 across the large karstic basin (polje) of the Piano Grande in northeastern direction. The gullies in the centre lead the water to a ponor, from where it drains under the ground. The village of Castelluccio di Norcia can be seen in the left background, whereas the Cima del Redentore (2448 m) dominates the right background of the photo.
