Qingping | Wenjia Gully debris flow mitigation

The Wenjia Landslide, triggered by the Wenchuan Earthquake of May 12, 2008, has mobilized a huge amount of material which was converted into debris flows by subsequent rainfall events. Extensive remediation works were carried out to protect the downstream communities and infrastructures.
