The slopes heading into the Gepatsch reservoir are characterized by scarps indicating a system of slow-moving landslides in the prevailing metamorphic rocks. The Hochmais Landslide in the right centre represents the most obvious example. The glacierized peak in the left background of this panoramic view is the Weißseespitze (3526 m).
