The two unnamed lakes in the foreground occupy depressions formed by two different glaciers, indicated by the medial moraine separating the water bodies. Vogelhüttensee and, in the very background, Pfurnsee, are visible in the right part of the image. The Becherhaus (3195 m) can be seen on the peak near the left edge.
