Panoramic view from the SW slopes of Volcán Osorno with a number of volcanic cones to the valley of Río Petrohué on the left side, and Lago Llanquihue on the right side. The lake, one of the largest of Chile, fills a depression left by a Pleistocene glacier. The andesitic stratovolcano Calbuco (2015 m), shown in the right central background of the photo, is known for its very explosive eruptions, most recently in April 2015.
