View from Castel Sant'Elmo over Naples towards east to the two summits of Mount Vesuvius in the left background. The left peak is the caldera rim Monte Somma (1149 m), the right peak represents the Cono Grande (1281 m). The Lattari Mountains (Monte Molare, 1444 m) appear in the left background behind the Gulf of Naples, whereas the Certosa di San Martino can be seen in the foreground.
