Teleki Valley, elevation: approx. 4000 m asl. The giant inflorescence in the right central foreground belongs to Lobelia telekii, the two inflorescences in the background to Lobelia deckenii ssp. keniensis. This type of plants is characteristic for tropical high-mountain areas.
