Teleki Valley, elevation: approx. 4000 m asl. The giant groundsels with stems represent the species Senecio keniodendron. The inflorescences in the right foreground belong to Lobelia deckenii ssp. keniensis (left centre). These types of plants are characteristic for tropical high-mountain areas.
