Olympic NP | Hoh Rainforest

Located at the seaward basis of the Olympic Mountains, the Hoh Rainforest is one of the major temperate rainforests in the USA. It is fully exposed to the humid Pacific air masses brought by the prevailing westerly winds particularly during winter. The average annual rainfall sums up to more than 3 m.
