View from the slopes of Patscherkofel down the lower Inn valley in NE direction. Hall in Tirol can be seen in the left centre. The rather moderate slopes in the foregeound are characteristic for the prevailing quartz phyllite. They stand in sharp contrast to the carbonate rocks of the Karwendel shown in the background (Grosser Bettelwurf, 2725 m).
